About FundraisingPoint

Catherine Clark Demetriadi, MInstF is an American-born Brit. She is the former Head of Communications, Marketing & Development for the Royal School of Church Music and has worked full-time and as a consultant development officer for over 30 years.  She was a newspaper columnist in Massachusetts for six years and is a regular commentator in British ‘Third Sector’ media.

FundraisingPoint is a new venture in association with Catherine’s husband, Julian C. Demetriadi, PhD FIH MHOSPA.  Together, they bring six decades of experience to your organisation’s development, communications, and marketing objectives, and can both create and implement strategies for your long-term success.

Catherine’s career is dedicated to helping non-profits and charities take their fundraising to the next level, with a focus on deepening relationships between donors and their chosen charities.

As a consultant, she has been the virtual development department for several small- to medium-sized non-profits:  managing their appeals, carrying out donor cultivation and stewardship activities, training and supporting gift solicitation teams, and setting up databases until her clients were ready to establish their own development offices.

Catherine has directed capital and major gifts campaigns, coordinated gala and cultivation events and major conferences, started non-profit groups off in their legacy fundraising, and much more.

 Free first consulting session

‘Let me discuss your organisation’s case for support and fundraising aspirations at a first, free consulting session, from which I will prepare a scope of work and fully costed proposal. I am available for single-day training sessions, while longer-term projects can be delivered at an attractive rate for smaller non-profits.’
